Gem Terminal, founded in 1977, has consistently embraced the concept of sustainable business as the foremost principle of corporate governance. The company's business operations are geared towards profitability and performance growth, facilitating the delivery of high-quality products and services to customers while prioritizing the rights and interests of employees and shareholders. Moreover, the company actively contributes to society, aligning its actions with the values inherent in corporate operations. Amid the global climate change crisis, in order to cherish the Earth, upon which our survival depends, Gem Terminal actively promotes ESG as a crucial initiative for corporate governance. In green manufacturing, significant achievements, such as achieving zero discharge of environmentally harmful wastewater and developing lead-free copper products, have shown notable effectiveness. To support education in rural areas, the company has consistently invested financial and material resources through various forms of assistance over the years. This commitment aims to enrich educational resources in rural areas and foster talent cultivation in schools, and it has resulted in commendable achievements after years of dedication. I will personally adopt a macro perspective, fulfill social responsibilities, implement the ESG corporate governance guidelines, and strive forward in pursuit of the company's philosophy of sustainable business operations.
